Exploration Blocks Under NELP-VI

RJ-ONN-2004/1 (Rajasthan)
The Rajasthan block was awarded to GSPC and consortium with GSPC as Operator during NELP-VI round of bidding. The production sharing contract (PSC) was signed on March 2007. As per PSC, the consortium has committed 3D API of 1250 sq. kms., 2D API of 1000 LKM, 2D reprocessing of 874 LKM and drilling of 6 exploratory wells.

KG-ONN-2004/2  (Krishna Godavari Basin, Andhara Pradesh)
The Krishna-Godavari block was awarded to GSPC and consortium with GSPC as Operator during NELP-VI round of bidding. The production sharing contract was signed on March 2007. As per PSC, the consortium has committed 3D API of 800 sq. kms., 2D API of 100 LKM 2D reprocessing of 550  LKM, high resolution satellite image interpretation of the block area (1140 sq. kms.) and drilling of 5 exploratory wells.

MB-OSN-2004/1 ( Mumbai Basin)
The Mumbai Offshore block was awarded to GSPC and consortium with GSPC as Operator during NELP-VI round of bidding. The production sharing contract was signed on March 2007. As per PSC, the consortium has committed 3D API of 1250 sq. kms. 2D API of 200 LKM, 2D reprocessing of 496  LKM, sea bed survey of 1250 sq. kms. and drilling of 3 exploratory wells.

Exploration Blocks Outside India

North Hap'y Offshore Block, Mediterranean Sea, Egypt
The North Hap'y Offshore Block was awarded to GSPC and consortium with GSPC as Operator during E GAS International 2006 bid round. The result of the bid round was announced on November 2006. The consortium has committed 3D API of 2500 sq. kms. and drilling of 6 exploratory wells in the first exploration phase.

S. Diyur Onshore Block, Western Desert, Egypt
The S. Diyur Onshore Block was awarded to GSPC and consortium with GSPC as Operator during International bid round - 1 for the year 2006 by GANOPE. The result of the bid round was announced on November 2006. The consortium has committed to acquire high resolution aero-magnetic and gravity data over the entire block (3678 sq. kms.), 2D API of 500 LKM, 3D API of 200 sq. kms. and drilling of 2 exploratory wells in the first exploration phase.

Block No. 19 Republic of Yemen
The Block No. 19 was awarded to GSPC and consortium with GSPC as Operator under third international bid round 2006. The result of the bid round was announced on December 2006. The consortium has committed, 2D API of 800 LKM, 3D API of 400 sq. kms. and drilling of 4 exploratory wells in the first exploration phase.

Block No. 28 Republic of Yemen
The Block No. 28 was awarded to GSPC and consortium with GSPC as Operator under third international bid round 2006. The result of the bid round was announced on December 2006. The consortium as committed, 2D API of 1000 lkm., 3D API of 200 Sq. kms. and drilling of 3 exploratory wells in the fast exploration phase.

Block No. 57 Republic of Yemen
The Block No. 57 was awarded to GSPC and consortium with GSPC as Operator under third international bid round 2006. The result of the bid round was announced on December 2006. The consortium has committed, 2D API of 1200 LKM, 3D API of 100 sq. kms. and drilling of 3 exploratory wells in the first exploration phase.
